Stress Away oil

This oil is one that I use quite frequently during the school year.  When I am stressed by all the planning, teaching, and training that goes along with home-schooling, I tend to hold the pressure in my jaw, so I apply this oil to relieve some of the tension.  I have a feeling that I will be using it a lot this school year because it will be my first year to home-school only boys—all six of them!

Here are a few more ways to use this oil.

Purification Oil

A 5 ml Purification oil. Ingredients: citronella (cymbopogon nardus), lemongrass (cymbopogon flexuosus), rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis), melaleuca (melaleuca alternifolia), lavandin (lavandula x hybrida), and myrtle (myrtus communis).
Purification oil

This oil is amazing for insect bites!  Just put it on the affected area to ease the itch.  I’ve also found that skin can heal more quickly when I’ve applied it.  This is the first oil my eighteen-year-old daughter used and, within a few minutes, she admitted, “These oils really do work!”  I just love it when my teens tell me that I’m right! Purification is also great for neutralizing odors.  With nine kids—six of them boys—we have a lot of odors!  I diffuse it and it really helps with the bad smell.  And, if there is sickness in the house and it needs to air out, just diffuse it.  (The Premium Starter Kit comes with a diffuser). Thieves Oil

A 5 ml Thieves oil. Ingredients: clove (syzygium aromaticum), lemon (citrus limon), cinnamon† (cinnamomum verum), and eucalyptus radiata rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis CT 1,8 cineol).
Thieves oil

This oil is my favorite!  When there is illness in the house, I put it on the bottom of my feet and dilute it in a spray bottle, cleaning the doorknobs with it.  I’ve even added a few drops to our liquid hand-soap.

Additionally, when I’m getting a tickle in my throat or feel like it’s getting sore, I rub it on the front of my neck.  It’s never failed in giving me relief.  For allergies, I’ve made homemade cough drops with it by adding a drop to local honey.
